Description
In this lesson, students develop their conversational skills in the context of choosing a city tour. They start by discussing photographs and answering some personalised questions to engage with the topic and then complete a variety of communicative activities to identify and practise a set of vocabulary related to taking a tour. They then complete a short jigsaw reading task based on four different city tours. The students then develop their listening skills by listening to two friends talking about which tour they would choose and completing a comprehension task before focusing on the language. The students finish the lesson with a speaking task in which they express which tour they would choose and why.
