Description
*This lesson has been updated.
In this article-based worksheet, students read about how windows can affect the well-being of elderly people. Activities focus on reading comprehension and vocabulary (including phrasal verbs). The lesson rounds off with a speaking activity in which students create stories about people they observe through a window.

Lots to like about this lesson, very nice theme and good writing task at the end. I find it takes more than 45 minutes to make the most of the speaking tasks. Also, Exercise 7: most of these are collocations not phrasal verbs, and "take for granted" is just a phrase / expression, the sub-heading "phrasal verbs" is a bit misleading
