Description

In this lesson, students develop their conversational skills by describing neighbours. The students start by looking at an image of a block of flats and describing what the neighbours are doing and then personalise the topic by answering some related questions. They then identify and practise a set of adjectives to describe the good and bad qualities of a neighbour. The students then hear the language in context while listening to three people describing their neighbours. There is a post-listening language focus and practice task on related phrases. They finish the lesson by consolidating and personalising the language by describing their neighbours. There is a final interactive game to review all the lexis from the lesson.
